Junior Tennis

Junior membership costs just £35 per year (payable to SCTC) for unlimited use of the courts.  Juniors will receive a membership card and are welcome to use the courts any time except when another session is in progress.  We also offer a Junior Coaching Programme, this is available only to Junior members but costs extra.  Coaching fees are payable directly to the coach.

Junior Coaching Programme

8 Week Coaching Course for Junior Members
Saturdays 9.00 - 10.00am
Starts Saturday 2nd June 2007
Cost: £40 (members only)
Run by: Phil Pullen Tennis

After the success of the first few courses we plan to start another.  It will follow straight on from the last one and will continue for 8 weeks. The lessons will last for 1 hour per session.  Payment must be in advance and each player must become a member of the club.

Included in the lessons will be the following:

  1. Physical warm up 
  2. Racket warm up 
  3. Group coaching
  4. Warm down/fun game

My daughter Gemma will continue taking the classes and we are happy incorporate most ages and abilities.

The cost of the eight 1-hour group is: £40.00

Junior Club (Supervised Practice)

Wednesdays 4.30pm - 6pm
ALL YEAR ROUND

FREE Supervised practice sessions. If you have played before and you are aged 7 or over then you are invited to join in our Junior club session. Come and play with other Juniors using our peg-board system so no-one gets left out. Gerry Groogan will be there to show you the ropes and make sure you have all the guidance you need to improve your game and your playing tactics! If you are a member it is FREE!! If not then become a member by registering here.
